Marketing & Communications Strategist —
ANI Creative Group

A Novel Idea Creative Group (ANI Creative) helps people rediscover their voices through storytelling, writing, and community. Our work includes creative retreats, Tiny Stories writing programs, and ANI Camps for Kids — summer workshops that teach young writers to craft short stories, poems, and novels.

We’re looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager who can turn inspiration into enrollment — someone who loves strategy and storytelling, knows how to build systems that work, and brings creative ideas to the table.

The Role

You’ll own the marketing and communications rhythm for ANI’s programs — from the strategy to the awareness to registration to follow-up.
This includes summer camps, creative retreats, and online offerings.

You’ll work directly with the founder to translate creative ideas into clear campaigns and measurable results. The goal: full programs, consistent messaging, and room for creative growth.

This is not an “execution-only” role. You’ll help shape our strategy — experimenting, improving, and guiding the tools we use — while also managing the day-to-day publishing and communication that keeps ANI visible and growing.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and manage the marketing calendar for camps, retreats, and online programs.

  • Design and execute multi-channel campaigns (email, social, partnerships, PR).

  • Recommend and help implement the right tools for our evolving tech stack (email platform, analytics, automations).

  • Write, edit, and schedule newsletters, blog posts, and social content in ANI’s voice.

  • Track results and share simple, actionable reports each week.

  • Coordinate with program and operations staff to align messaging and timelines.

  • Identify new opportunities for growth — creative collaborations, local press, speaking, or community partnerships.

Who You Are

  • A creative marketer who loves stories, people, and impact.

  • Equally comfortable brainstorming a campaign as you are scheduling the posts and sending the emails.

  • Skilled writer and editor. You have a warm, clear, human voice.

  • Organized and proactive; you like to see projects through.

  • Curious about tools but not dependent on any single platform.

  • Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working with a founder-led creative business.

Details

  • Commitment: 15-25 hours per week

  • Start Date: November–December 2025 (immediate hire)

  • Pay: Competitive, based on experience and location

  • Location: Remote (U.S. EST or Ireland time zones preferred)

  • Reports to: Founder & Creative Director, Kristen House

Success Looks Like

  • Target % of summer camp seats filled by April 15

  • Marketing calendar and communications rhythm running smoothly

  • New, creative ideas tested, measured, and amplified

  • Clear weekly reporting — no surprises, no scramble

To Apply

  • A brief note on why this role and this stage of ANI interests you.

  • 2–3 examples of campaigns you’ve built (launches, enrollment pushes, social-led sales, partnerships) where you owned the strategy and the execution.

  • The results: audience/reach, conversions, and anything that shows you took a brand from “idea” to “it’s working.”

  • Email to: jobs@anicreative.com with the subject line: “Marketing & Communications Strategist – ANI Creative.”
