Woven Story Retreat

2026

You already have a voice. A voice that is your own. And you have so many stories.
What’s missing isn’t talent — It’s time, structure, and the space to begin.

Whether you’re a poet, a memoir writer, or someone who has always wanted to write but never quite knew how to start, this is how you begin.

When we weave a story retreat, we don’t chase word counts or deadlines. We won’t criticize or minimize. We’ll build something steady. A creative rhythm you can carry home with you.

Let’s begin together.

Hi. I’m so glad to meet you. For over 15 years, I’ve been helping people meet their stories on paper. I can’t wait to meet you and your stories.

Bren McClain’s critically acclaimed debut novel, One Good Mama Bone, from Pat Conroy’s Story River Books, has been described as “Charlotte’ s Web for grown-ups.” We’re so lucky that she’s going to join us.
